I’m Willow — photographer, wanderer, storyteller of the quiet and the wild.

Some people fall in love in grand gestures.
Others fall in love the moment the world gets quiet — in the soft light between trees, in the stillness before sunrise, in the way your partner reaches for your hand without thinking.

Those are the moments that move me.
Those are the ones I’m here to document.

love notes From couples who found home in the wild

Leah & Ryan

“Choosing Willow was the easiest part of our elopement. She made the whole experience feel effortless and deeply meaningful. Our photos feel like us — the quiet moments, the wild ones, the ones we didn’t even know she saw. We’ll treasure them forever.

Maya & Tom

“Willow captured our day with such tenderness and intention. She didn’t just take photos — she held space for every emotion, every breath, every little spark between us. Looking at our gallery feels like stepping back into the exact magic of that day.”

Harper & Eli

“From the very first moment, Willow made us feel seen. She captured our elopement in a way that felt natural and completely true to who we are. Every image carries the softness, joy, and wild beauty of our love. We couldn’t have dreamed of a better storyteller.”

my philosophy

Honest storytelling rooted in place, emotion, and intention

I believe the outdoors invites us to be fully ourselves.

When you choose to commit your lives to each other surrounded by mountains, forests, deserts, or oceans, you’re not just choosing a backdrop — you’re choosing a feeling.

My work is driven by that feeling:
the calm, the connection, the groundedness, the awe.

I’m here to photograph your day as it unfolds naturally — the unrehearsed breaths, the wind-tangled hair, the laughter echoing across a valley, the tenderness you share when no one else is watching. No stiff posing. No forced moments. Just truth, wrapped in golden light.

Over the years

I picked up my first camera on a road trip through the Pacific Northwest. Somewhere between the dense forests and fog-covered cliffs, I realized photography wasn’t just something I enjoyed — it was how I connected with the world. That trip planted the seed for everything that followed.

2014

Where it all began

After photographing travelers, and couples met on hiking trails, I understood what drew me in: real emotion, wild landscapes, and unscripted connection. This was the year I shifted away from traditional posing and leaned fully into documentary-style, nature-centered storytelling.

2017

Discovering my approach

When intimate weddings and elopements began to rise, something clicked deep inside me. This was where my heart flourished — in quiet ceremonies on mountaintops, two-person vow exchanges in forests, and days built around intention, not pressure.

2020

The leap into elopements

Today, Willow Photography is shaped by couples who value meaning and connection over perfection. My work has taken me from rugged deserts to alpine lakes, documenting love in its raw, unfiltered beauty. Every story deepens my purpose: to capture love exactly as it feels — wild, grounded, and beautifully true.

How I approach your story

Part documentary, part editorial, entirely you.

I guide when it helps you feel comfortable, then step back when the moment starts to unfold on its own.
The result? Images that feel lived-in, not manufactured.

My approach blends:
 • Documentary softness — the real, in-between moments
 • Editorial intention — natural direction that enhances your connection
 • Sense of place — landscapes that matter as much as the moments

Your story doesn’t need embellishment.
It needs presence — and I’m here to hold that space.

Quick facts

The heart behind the lens

A childhood spent in forests. A life spent chasing quiet magic.

My love for photography started long before I knew what it would become.
I grew up exploring wild spaces — barefoot summers, mountain trails, misty mornings that felt like secret worlds. The camera eventually became the way I made sense of it all.

A few things I love (because you should know the human behind the camera)
 • Forest air after the rain
 • Desert sunrises and long quiet drives
 • Dogs that follow you off-trail
 • Music that feels like a memory
 • Campfire stories
 • Films with soft light and slow moments
 • Couples who laugh with their whole bodies

Let’s start dreaming your day.
